Well, after almost 12 months of processing, back and forth from recruiting, interviews and medical tests I have finally been accepted in to the defence forces. This will affect my photography for a while and I will be offline mid year (2010) for about 3 months but it will sort my career out for the rest of my life. It has been a huge decision but am happy with the one I have made.

Hi all, just a quick update to say hi to everyone. Been taking some more pics again...bout time! lol Been to the beach with the new camera and playing around with the HD Movie recorder. Good fun. Still feelin a bit lost but that will change one day...would just like to meet a lovely lady.

I'm feeling a little lost at the moment, a tad out of direction. There are so many things I want to do but am restricted to time and money...especially the money.
My photography has suffered of late and I have not taken any pics at all recently. I have updated my website recently though.

Well except for the cold nights that I have been spoiled on missing out on in north Queensland, life is just dandy! Not been doing much in the way of taking any photos recently but have gone through and edited a whole heap and will update the website very soon.
Not sure how many of you know but I am also a nudist and this gives me a great opportunity to go to one of Queensland's most famous nude beach, Alexandria Bay in the Noosa National Park. I want to get some sunrise photos from this area as well so look out for them.

Well, as a new page in the life of Dean turns over a new story begins.
As of the 22nd of May I will be living on the Sunshine Coast (for those not in Aus, google Noosa Heads). I have just got a transfer with work to a place where I am going to feel at home. Townsville did not really do it for me although I did not really give it a chance but I always knew it in my heart.
I post another journal once I have settled down there and get my butt into gear and post some more photos.
